Billy Capozzi - front person of the seminal psychedelic Long Island (and beyond) rock band Finally Balanced, avid songwriter and radical poet, father, son, and brother to many - passed away not too long ago. His close circle of friends and family have put together this concert in his memory. Tons of artists and poets including The Soil Birds, Dave Berg, Dave Diamond, Billy Lamont, The Mighty Underdogs, and, of course, Finally Balanced. I'm honored to be part of the day's festivities. All proceeds go to Billy's wife and kids and family. I'll be reading some poems at around 4 and possibly sitting in with Finally Balanced at 6:30.
